Based on the best practises of India
The problems that existed within the western world resulted in reforms there. They aren’t needed for India. Since ages several great ways of life exist in India. So approaching from an Indic Life perspective, those ways of life need to analysed and the best practises out of them shall be enacted as Uniform Civil Code.
Is there a draft for Uniform Civil Code ?
How would a Uniform Civil Code look like ? Will it be like those Laws that are applied on Hindus alone since Hindu Code Bills ? Since they were accused to have been applied on Hindus alone in a Secular way, will those laws get extended as Uniform Civil Code on people of other religions too ? Are they going to extend the Uniform Civil Code of Goa across the country ?
The best of the practises of this nation means whose practises ? What kind of practises ? Which practise would be taken for what purpose ? Were they released ?
It has been decades now and the discussion of Uniform Civil Code has been discussed so vociferously. Has any of the Governments or its department ever came out with a draft based on any of premises discussed above ? If they have not come out, why should there be support for anything that has not yet brought out for display and conviction in implementing it ?
It is normal to show the draft of any law that was about to get enacted and debate upon it. But when so much confusions prevail over the Uniform Civil Code why should any Indian support it ?
